Small Communities of Faith
Small Communities of Faith at St. Charles are groups of 6-12 people in a similar state of life who meet regularly (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) to grow in faith together. These meetings center around the four pillars of Christian discipleship as expressed in the St. Charles Challenge. Small Communities of Faith:
LEARN together through reflection on God's Word and through other resources suited to their needs (e.g. videos, books, or small group guides) under the advisement of the Pastor or his staff.
PRAY together through shared prayer and the testimony of God's workings in their life.
CELEBRATE together through the liturgy and the sacramental life of the Church via Sunday Mass and regular Confession.
SHARE the love of Jesus with each other through authentic conversation and mutual accountability, and spur each other on to share the love of Jesus with others through evangelization, service and giving.
If you’re interested in joining a group, please view the list of our active communities, and you may make arrangements with the leader to visit their meetings.
We are always looking for new leaders so that we can offer this fruitful ministry to others, if you would like to explore becoming a Small Community of Faith leader, please consider letting us help you start your own group by letting our Director of Evangelization Justin Woodbury know (jwoodbury@stcharleschurch.org).

Do you desire to grow in your Catholic faith? Do you seek connection with other women in our parish community? We invite you to consider joining Walking With Purpose, a Catholic women's Bible study program that meets fall through spring each year.
Walking with Purpose gives women the opportunity to embark on a journey where they learn how they can navigate everyday challenges and struggles with the help of Biblical teachings, the love of Jesus Christ, and the support of other women. At Walking with Purpose at St. Charles Borromeo, we place returning and new participants together in small groups for each study.
It is our hope that women make their experience at Walking with Purpose a stepping stone in their journey to build upon their relationship with Jesus Christ and their friendships with women who can walk alongside them in this journey.
A $15 registration fee is requested to help with hospitality and administrative costs during the study.
In addition, a copy of Grounded in Hope is needed to participate in group discussions. Register here!
Questions, including to ask about financial assistance, can be emailed to Ilse Bercik at wwp@stcharleschurch.org.

Teams provide a proven method of increasing and improving prayer life, which will help couples grow closer to God and each other. At the same time, their family will reap the benefits as well.
In Teams of Our Lady, couples commit to a 1-year small group with other couples in a similar state of life (recently married/no kids, married with younger kids, or married for longer/older kids), meeting together once a month.
