Workcamp 2026

What is Workcamp?

Since 1990, WorkCamp has been venturing into various areas of Virginia with a twofold objective. First, we seek to provide the teens of our Diocese with an intense conversion experience through service, community, and prayer. Second, we seek to serve our fellow Virginians by making their homes warmer, safer, and drier.

WorkCamp 2026 will take place from June 20-26, 2026, bringing together nearly 800 teens from across the Arlington Diocese to spend a week together in an intentional Christian Community, completing a variety of direct service projects.

Work Camp 2026 be in Quicksburg, VA, in the Shenandoah Valley.

Our planning for St Charles Borromeo to participate in Work Camp 2026 is underway! We are seeking men and women as Adult Crew Leaders to participate in work camp with our teens, and as we anticipate that 17-20 of our teens will attend this year’s work camp, we project we will need four or five adult crew leaders.

To be an adult crew leader you must be 25, attend VIRTUS training (OPCYP compliant), attend a crew leader training session in March, and have had a driver’s license for three years.

If interested, please contact Chris Gunther (gunthercj@verizon.net, phone 760-695-8683) or Justin Woodbury (jwoodbury@stcharleschurch.org). Fill out the interest form to be an adult crew leader.
