October 27, 2019 All Saints Day
This past weekend, we had our All Saints Day celebration where children were invited to wear a saint costume while our On the WAY Confirmandi shared their displays teaching the children and parents about their saints.
October 28, 2019 Parish Book Discussion

October 27, 2019 St. Charles Sunday Dinners
Every Sunday, we invite all St. Charles Parishioners to fellowship together over dinner after the 6pm Mass at Rocklands BBQ down the street. It’s a great way to meet other parishioners and enjoy each other’s company.
October 27, 2019 Ministry Volunteer Recruitment
This past weekend, our pastor Fr. Don asked all parishioners to consider sharing one hour or more of their time per week to support the mission of our parish. Representatives from the ministries of the parish displayed information about their ministry so parishioners could sign up to get involved.
October 23, 2019 P3: Prayer, Penance, and Pub
P3: Prayer, Penance, and Pub is a weekly time of Eucharistic Adoration.
Adoration begins at 6:30pm with confession available. A meditation is given at 8pm. Fellowship follows at a local bar or upstairs in the gym (cash or credit accepted).

At St. Charles we have Small Communities of Faith, which are groups of 6-12 people in a similar state of life who meet regularly (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) to grow in faith together. If you are interested in joining a group, consider contacting a small group leader to set up a time to visit their group!
October 22, 2019 Walking with Purpose
This year, St. Charles’ Walking with Purpose Women’s Bible Study is doing two concurrent studies. Some of the women are going through the Opening Your Heart study, which is a great introductory study, and others are going through the Touching the Divine study, which is on the Gospel of John. Here are some photos of the last Connect Social, which is a special meeting where we encourage newcomers and guests to come for fellowship, dinner, and to join in on the discussion.

Last night, St. Charles partnered with the Thomistic Institute to host Dr. Jennifer Frey from the University of South Carolina, who gave an introduction to Philosophical Anthropology.

We are well into our evening Bible Study, Matthew: The King and His Kingdom produced by Ascension Press. The Bible Study meets Tuesday Evenings from 7pm to 9pm at the parish center.
September 21, 2019 Clarendon Day
Clarendon Day is one of Arlington’s best loved and most diverse street festivals, with several music stages, a large kid’s area, arts and crafts vendors, business and nonprofit exhibitors from Clarendon and the region, plenty of great food from local and regional restaurants, Craft beers and Virginia wines, and more.
St. Charles set up a booth to let everyone know where to go for a vibrant and joyful faith community!
