Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Would you like to explore the Catholic faith in an even deeper way? Would you like to begin the journey of entering the Church? Then you are invited to join RCIA. The Rite of Christian Initiation is not a “sign-up” for becoming a Catholic. It is a time of no obligation, during which we pursue the Truth and the Meaning of life, answers to eternal questions, and the truths, teachings, and practices of the Catholic Church.
The next RCIA course will begin in September 2019 and runs through Spring 2020. Classes are held each Monday evening from 7:00-9:00pm in the Parish Center.
For those looking for a more casual way of learning about the Catholic faith, we have Catholic Q&A every other week on Sundays at 11:30am.
Note: Under normal circumstances, those entering the RCIA formation process are encouraged to do so with the Catholic Church nearest their place of residence since that Church is usually best-suited to meet the pastoral and community needs of RCIA participants. To find the Catholic Church established in your place of residence, see the map located here.
If you would like to begin your RCIA journey at St. Charles, please complete the RCIA Interest Form below and we will contact you about the next steps. For more information, please contact Adam Arehart at 703.527.5500 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
