Parking Near St. Charles

St. Charles parking lot (view from roof) includes a few handicap parking spots

The parish parking lot is one of several options available for parking near St. Charles.

Sunday Mass overflow parking is available in the black Truland building 3300 Washington Blvd at the intersection of Kirkwood Dr.
Surface parking - Enter on Kirkwood Dr.
Covered parking - Enter on Washington Blvd.

((You can no longer park across the street in the GMU parking lot because it is now a construction site.)

We're glad to have you join us at St. Charles where our hearts are big...even if our parking lot isn't. If you're coming by car, here's what you need to know about parking near our urban church.

Please park in the lot only during the Mass you are attending.
During weekend Masses, you may park in the Truland Building lots at the corner of Washington Blvd and Kirkwood Drive (3300 Washington Blvd). Enter the surface lot from Kirkwood Drive or underground parking from Washington Blvd.
Sunday parking is no longer allowed at George Mason Law School because it is now a construction site.On Sundays only, additional parking is available at George Mason University (across Kirkwood Drive from the school); don't park there on other days for church business or you will be towed.
Parishioner parking is not allowed in the Red Top Cab parking lot, nor in the Midas parking lot.
For parents of children attending religious education on Sundays, please park on the streets or in the local neighborhoods (or, drop off your child without leaving your car in the St. Charles lot).
Street and neighborhood parking is available a short walk from the church. Remember to obey posted signs and meters where they apply.
Parking attendant volunteers will provide guidance on where to park if the lot is filled on Sundays.
