Dear Friends,

Last Friday hundreds of parish volunteers and their families joined us for our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. We are grateful to all those who, with their time and talents, help us fulfill our mission of bringing the Good News to the heart of Arlington.

I encourage–and challenge–every parishioner to place their gifts at the service of our mission. To explore the many ways you may serve, check out the link to our “SHARE” Brochure on the homepage of our website, and contact the relevant parish staff member to sign up. We—Jesus, his Church—need your help!

…is now open. Parents, please register all your children and teens for our dynamic programs for formation in our faith. You can do so easily online: visit our website under the LEARN menu.

Be sure to check out our newly-redesigned website, which is more user-friendly! It’s the good work of our new Assistant for Evangelization & Communications, Bulay Miñano. She’s really upped our game in terms of all media: “old” (print) media (like the bulletin and posters), and new media (website, social media, Flocknote, etc.). You can stay connected with all the good things that are happening in our parish in these ways:

Subscribe to our Flocknote messaging lists:

The St. Charles Weekly Bulletin list, where you’ll receive an electronic version of our weekly bulletin

The St. Charles Alerts list, where we will send out timely updates, such as parish closings or Holy Day reminders

The St. Charles Challenge list, with tips and reminders on embracing the St. Charles Challenge

Once you join any of these lists, you’ll also receive a link inviting you to peruse other parish messaging groups that you can join.

Follow us on social media: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

It’s easy to stay current—simply go to our website and click the links to sign up:

You can also follow/friend me and Fr. Dyer on Instagram and on Facebook!

I remain your servant in Christ Jesus,

Father Don
