The Northern Virginia chapter of Virginians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (VADP-NOVA) will hold an execution vigil for Robin Lovitt at 8:30 PM at Courthouse Metro station in Arlington on Monday, July 11. If by some chance Robin Lovitt is not executed, vigil attendees we will still meet at the Metro stop and go somewhere to meet and celebrate the commutation.

Brian Bedell's funeral is here on Friday, May 27 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brian Bedell 2-Young Foundation. Brian, 35, passed away from brain cancer on May 23. (See related story from Times Community site.)

  • Cursillo Ultreya gather for an evening of sharing, renewal of friendships and meeting new cursillistas on Saturday, January 15. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served in Room 103 of the Parish Center after the 5 PM Mass from 6 - 9 PM.
  • Come to the Town Hall in Benedict Hall on Sunday, January 23 at Noon (in English) and 1 PM (in Spanish).
