Job Opening: Elementary School Principal

Location:  Arlington, VA
Start Date:  July 1, 2008

St. Charles School provides a Catholic primary education to a diverse student body. With grades from pre-K to 8, and a curriculum ranging from quality preparation for higher education to remediation where indicated, the school aims to educate the whole child, spiritually, ethically, morally, socially, and physically. 

Candidates must:

1. Hold a master’s degree and a valid administrator’s certificate from a state department of education and a minimum of 6 semester hours within the last 5-year period, or a bachelor’s degree with evidence of satisfactory pursuit of a master’s degree and an administrator’s certificate or its equivalent;
2. Have 5 years teaching experience in a Catholic school;
3. Be active, practicing Catholics.
   

Proficiency in Spanish is desirable, but not required.
