St. Charles School Pre-Kindergarten

At St. Charles, we believe that childhood should be a time of fun, exploration and discovery. We recognize that each child develops differently. Our purpose is to provide a warm, secure environment and a dedicated staff to help each child develop a positive self-image and prepare him/her for the transition to Kindergarten.

The Pre-Kindergarten program is operated under the Supervision of the Principal of St. Charles School.

Eligibility:

Children must be 4 years old by September 30th. This will assure that they will meet the Virginia minimum age requirement for Kindergarten the following year.

Sessions:

• AM Program: 8:15 AM - 11:15 AM Mon. - Fri.
• PM Program: 12:15 PM - 3:15 PM Mon. - Fri.

Registration:

A $75 registration fee must accompany the registration form.
Registration will be accepted in accordance with the following priority:

1. Families currently enrolled in St. Charles School
2. Members of St. Charles Parish
3. Enrollment open to other children

Tuition:

Paid in 10 monthly installments, August-May. Due on the first day of each month.

To qualify for Catholic rate, a family must submit a copy of child's baptism certificate and a letter from the Pastor of the Parish in which they are registered certifying they are members in good standing of their parish.

Families who pay all tuition and fees in full by September 3, 2004, receive a $100 reduction. For families who leave or enroll in mid-year, total tuition due or refunded will be calculated on a 10-month basis and prorated for the months in attendance (partial month equals one full month payment).
