Our Church calls us to conversion and renewal of life as we move into a new millennium. In 1997 we were asked to reflect upon our life with Jesus. 1999 will be a time for us to focus on how deeply we are loved by God, the Father. But what about right now? We are living in the year of the Holy Spirit and have a few more months to dedicate ourselves to discovering the power and blessings of the Third Person of the Trinity.

Moved by the Spirit to spread the Good News of our Church, the community of St. Charles will host a four-day Parish Mission, October 26 through 29, 1998. The Mission will be led by Fr. John Kelleher and Fr. Francis Smith, Franciscan Friars of the Word, from St. Anthony of Padua Friary in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Parish evangelization is the full time charism of the Friars.

The Mission will be a week of spiritual renewal with unique opportunities for prayer and reflection. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in both the morning and evening services. We extend a special invitation to those who have been away from the Church, those who do not know the love of Jesus and those who are interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith.
