Schedule – Most Wednesday mornings throughout the year from 10 to 11:30 (after the morning Mass and Rosary) in the Library located in the Rectory (to the left as you come in the door).

Programs – The Paulist Press Bible Study series is used. There is a text, a workbook, and your own Bible. A video is shown. Currently there are 8 programs – 4 on the Old Testament and 4 on the New Testament. Each program is composed of 8 lessons. We spend two weeks on each lesson and have frequent breaks, most of which are used to work on the library. Thus, it takes several months to complete a program.

What Is Involved – You would join a group of men and women who, for the most part, are retired. There is homework which consists of reading the text book and your Bible. The video is shown twice and we answer the questions in the workbook regarding the video at the second session. There is an exchange of ideas during each session and everyone participates. At the end of each session prayers are said for any special intentions of the participants. If you are not able to do the homework, you would still come to the session. Costs for each program range from $15 to $35 (but the most costly book is used for 3 programs). Once in a while, we will make a “field trip” to an exhibit or location (Franciscan Monastery).
