Freedom: Parishioner Reflections on the Jubilee One result could be to allow yourself to explore new avenues...
What is freedom anyway? One definition is the license to make unlimited choices. This could be overwhelming! A starting point would be to evaluate yourself objectively in different areas of freedom. Are you restricting yourself? I have found that as I have matured, I am able to free myself to become involved in many community activities - something that I would never have permitted in my youth. Are you allowing yourself too much freedom in some parts of your life? Are you restricting others unreasonably? Are you failing to set limits on others who are your responsibility? After your evaluation, concentrate on those areas that will enrich the lives of yourself and others. One result could be to allow yourself to explore new avenues that might accomplish new goals that benefit others.
