At the village church in L’Oiseau, community leaders tell Committee representatives about their needs and show the church repairs made with some money the committee was able to contribute last year. The community has a public school – a rarity in Haiti – but were in danger of losing it because there’s no passable road, and the teacher refuses to come over the rough path. It was a blessing that the Committee had sent money for tools and supplies, which will enable them to fix the road.
