Nurse-Managed Health Center St. Charles has been working with Marymount University's School of Health Professions to open a Nurse-Managed Health Center in our Church. This Center will provide many needed services for members of our parish and the surrounding community, such as health screening, wellness information sessions, and physician referrals. Marymount is conducting a fund-raising effort on behalf of the Center and has already had some success. Additional funds from local foundations, individuals, corporations and government sources are required in order to fully support the Center. In getting started, the Center has offered blood pressure screens; anticipated screens include breast health (mammography for those who qualify). If you are familiar with sources of funding for philanthropic programs, or if you have work and/or social contact in this area, please volunteer to help. Jo-Ann Duggan
