JUBILEE UNITY?
Catholics, Lutherans: Likenesses, Differences

What are the latest developments in Catholic and Lutheran unity?

Pastor Scott Ickert from Resurrection Lutheran Church
Wednesday, June 2, 1999

"To believe in Christ means to desire unity...such is the meaning of Christ's prayer: that they may be one."    Pope John Paul II

Learn more about the recent proposed Lutheran - Roman Catholic "Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification." What kinds of things do we really have in common that most of us don't recognize? What can be built upon?

Pastor Ickert is well known in the ecumenical field. He is currently a member of Round 10 of the USA Lutheran - Roman Catholic Dialogue and was a contributor to the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) commentary on the original Concordat of Agreement between the ELCA and the Anglicans.

Bring your questions, curiosity, desire for unity, and concerns. And find our for yourself.
