Global Poverty and Global Debt:
How debt relief can lead to international development

Come to learn about global debt from a speaker from Jubilee USA. Jubilee
USA campaigns for debt relief for the world's poorest nations, and looks
at how international loans hurt the poorest among us. Our speaker, Brian
Swarts, will tell us the Biblical and modern reasons to support debt relief,
and how you can be involved. Marisa Vertrees, St. Charles' Social Justice
Coordinator, will speak on St. Charles' support of debt relief, and how
international debt affects our ministry in Haiti.
