JustFaith Comes to St. Charles

Engaging in the Church's social mission is one of the most challenging messages of our Gospel tradition. JustFaith is a process that "unpacks" the complexity of our Church's call to compassion and advocacy on behalf of the vulnerable.

JustFaith is modeled after the RCIA Program—you will make a 30-week commitment to participate in weekly facilitated events on justice education using books, videos, lectures, discussion, prayer, and retreats to engage and enliven the remarkable justice tradition of our Church.

JustFaith is a program of Catholic Charities, the Catholic Campaign for Human Development and Catholic Relief Services and will illuminate issues of social justice in your daily life.

St. Charles is joining with other neighboring parishes to create 2-3 groups of 20 people each to start JustFaith programming beginning in late September 2004. One group will meet in the evening—likely Monday evenings; one group will meet in the morning. We are even hoping to organize a JustFaith group specifically for young adults!

The materials cost $130 - limited scholarships are available if needed. Please join us! Please register by August 16, 2004.
