Web Team Coding Shortcuts

New parish web pages must be created using a .php extension. You can copy #2 below as a starting point.

Note: The <head> tag needs to include <?php include('/home/36479/users/.home/domains/stcharleschurch.org/html/includes/meta.inc'); ?> which pulls in a style sheet. The <body> tag should not a background color set.

Meta tags

Entire Web page - with .php tags

Top Navigation - for pages with .php extensions

Footer - for pages with .php extenstion

1. St. Charles Meta tags and Global-include File
insert in between <head></head> tags

3. Top navigation tag, for pages ending with a .PHP extension
Insert just after start of the <body> tag

4. Footer tag, for pages ending with a .PHP extension
Insert just before closing </body> tag. This pulls in web analytics, sets the last-updated date and adds the bottom navigation.
