Feel My Spirit!

Parish Center update

Feel the Guilt!

  • Music for Mums--Proceeds from the annual (and perennial) St. Chuck's fundraiser will go to the parish's Eden You Can Have a Garden project. Over the years, St. Chuck's holy water has been proven more effective on Jerusalem sage than regular Arlington tap water. Why talk to your plants when you can sing to them?
  • With the success of Christmas in April, we're proud to introduce Halloween in May. Join us as we go to McLean to egg the home of a non-needy family.
  • Social Justice's Hunger Committee called for a boycott today of the following offensively-named ministries: SALT, FISH, CAFE, and of course, Cookies for Kairos.
  • Wayward Christian Soldiers? The St. Chuck's School ROTC program went on high alert this week after a suspected incursion by the St. Agnes SEALs. The incident ended relatively peacefully when it dissolved into a manic Pokemon trading card exchange.
  • Following the Pope's example, Fr. Gerry Creedon apologized for the Irish joke he told to start last week's homily. "It was an old joke, I knew it was an old joke, but I told it anyway. Next time I'll just pick on the choir."
  • The Prison Ministry needs you! Commitment? 5 to 10 years, with time off for good behavior.

It's Lent, for goodness sake--take me back to the normal site!
