St. Charles and the Jewish Faithful

The Mel Gibson movie, The Passion of the Christ, has focused popular attention on the state of Catholic and Jewish relations. At St. Charles, we have strong relationship with our Jewish neighbors. For example, Rabbi Lea Bass has spoken at St. Charles a number of times, most recently on November 2, 2003 for "Breaking the Stereotypes: Women in Religion," a Conversations with Creedon event. We also join Congregation Etz Hayim and other area houses of worship each year for a Thanksgiving interfaith service.
