Deacon Marques Silva

Deacon Silva graduated with a BS from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and completed his diaconal studies through Notre Dame Graduate School of Christendom College. He has extensive experience in youth and college outreach and evangelization ministry and is a regular contributor to the diocesan blog, Encourage and Teach. He is currently Director for Child Protection and Safety in the Diocese of Arlington and is assigned to St. Leo the Great parish in Fairfax. Deacon Silva is the father of four great kids and husband to his beautiful wife Christine.

Clarendon Theology on Tap is presented by the Arlington Diocese Young Adult Ministry. It is held on the second Monday of each month at O'Sullivan's Irish Pub located at 3207 Washington Blvd., in Arlington, VA, across from St. Charles Catholic Church. 

All adults (ages 21-39) single and married of all faith backgrounds are invited. Talk begins at 7:30 pm & ends with Q&A at 8:30 pm. Arrive early to get a seat!
