The St. Charles parish community will celebrate forty hours of continuous Eucharistic Adoration, in thanksgiving for the many blessings the Lord has bestowed on us and praying for His mission of love and mercy to be advanced even further.
Our 40 Hours Devotion will begin on November 1 and conclude on November 3, the day before the feast day of St. Charles Borromeo, patron saint of the parish, who widely promoted the 40 Hours Devotion as Archbishop of Milan.
The following day of the event, on Sunday, November 4 the parish will celebrate the Feast of St. Charles Borromeo with a community meal and live music in the gym.
SIGN UP FOR ADORATION SLOTS:
Signing up for an hour-long adoration time slot will ensure continuous adoration of the Blessed Sacrament throughout the 40 Hours Devotion. Please click the button below to be taken to the 40 Hours online signup (via signupgenius.com). You may claim an individual time slot for yourself or for a group. Additional adorers are welcome any time throughout the 40 Hours Devotion.
OVERNIGHT SECURITY & HOSPITALITY:
In addition to the one-hour adoration slots, we are seeking volunteers to cover four-hour nighttime shifts from 8pm to 8am so that we can provide security and hospitality (coffee and water) to our guests. Please contact Jessica Jenkins if you would like to offer to cover one of these shifts: email@example.com
