Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship

The Catholic Diocese of Arlington's Peace and Justice Commission

present the 5th Annual Peace and Justice Commission Conference

Directions to St. Charles

Citizenship of a particular country forms part of our identity, but faith defines us. The Cross is before the -- what does that mean for discipleship? As citizens of God's earth as well as the United States, how can we promote human life and dignity, global solidarity and the common good?

Keynote Speaker:

John Carr, Executive Director, US Conference of Catholic Bishops, Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development

Panelists: Jeff Caruso, Esq., Virginia Catholic Conference
Dr. Stephen Colecchi and Ms. Kathy Saile, US Conference of Catholic Bishops

The Conference will commence with Mass, followed by the keynote speaker, a video address from the Bishops of Virginia, guest panelists, specific topic sessions, and then will conclude with a prayer service.
