African Conflicts 101:
Understanding Conflict and Moving Towards Peace Building

St. Charles Borromeo invites you to an educational series presented by our very own Fr. Clement Aapengnuo.

In this 6-week program, Fr. Clement will teach us the root causes of several conflicts on the African continent, and how these causes can be addressed. Based on his work on conflict resolution with CRS (Catholic Relief Services) in Northern Ghana, Fr. Clement will talk about how to begin the process of ending conflicts and building peace. Join us Monday evenings, starting June 25th, for what promises to be an enlightening discussion.

Meetings will be at 7:00 pm in Room 104 of the Parish Community Center (directions)

Want to know more? We have additional background information about Africa and this series. Also, see coverage from the Arlington Catholic Herald.

All are welcome. For more information please contact Marisa Vertrees, 703-527-5500, ext. 126, mvertrees@stcharleschurch.org
