Second Annual St. Charles Cereal Drive

The St. Charles Food Pantry in partnership with the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) is once again holding the annual Cereal Drive. AFAC distributes supplemental groceries to nearly 600 needy families each week to satisfy the breakfast, lunch, and dinner needs of the families referred to them. AFAC distributes approximately 600 boxes of cereal to those families each week. The St. Charles Food Pantry has been asked to sponsor an effort to collect at least two weeks worth of cereal for AFAC. Since the good people of St. Charles are known for their generosity with their Pantry, we hope to collect at least 1,200 family-sized boxes of nutritious cereal in order to help out those in our community who may very well go without a healthy breakfast.

Please place your special Cereal Drive contributions along with your regular Pantry donations in the Pantry boxes at the Church Entrances, or in the Parish Office starting the week of September 10th through the end of the month.
