Dedication of the New Community Center

Join us on January 30, 2004, for the dedication of the new St. Charles Community Center and the tribute to School Principal Sr. Benedict Kesock for her dedicated service to St. Charles School.

ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CATHOLIC CHURCH DEDICATES NEW COMMUNITY CENTER AND HONORS SCHOOL PRINCIPAL’S 30 YEARS OF DEVOTED SERVICE

“Live the Spirit!” A Multicultural Mass and Celebration to mark the official opening of St. Charles Borromeo Parish’s new Community Center and to honor School Principal Sr. Benedict Kesock, O.S.B., for her 30 years of devoted service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3304 N. Washington Boulevard in Arlington, Virginia. A dedication ceremony and reception follow in the Community Center’s Benedict Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Most Reverend Paul S. Loverde, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, will celebrate the multicultural Mass; Reverend Gerry Creedon, Pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Chairman of the Peace and Justice Commission of the Arlington Diocese, and Reverend Francisco Mendez de Dios, Parochial Vicar, will concelebrate. Bishop Loverde will preside at the dedication ceremony, which will include prayers and music in Creole, English, Gaelic, Spanish, Swahili and Tagalag.
