Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of
Fr. Creedon's Ordination!

The parish honored Fr. Creedon's 35th anniversary of his ordination with a Mass
and great music on Saturday, June 21, 2003.

Many of the guests sang Fr. Creedon's praises, including Rep. Jim Moran (long-time friend of the parish),
Michael Creedon (who served as Master of Ceremonies), St. Charles Principal Sr. Benedict and Cantor Richard Tappen.

Fr. Wynendale, Pere Marquis Charles from Haiti joined Fr. Creedon, along with Fr. Mendez

Lorna Creedon, Michael Creedon and Eamon McEvilley, the tin whistler who presented the Prayers of the Faithful in Gaelic during the Mass. Arlington Board Member Chris Zimmerman congratulates Fr. Creedon.

Susan Fitzgerald and her daughter enjoyed the event. Olga Caceres, Rectory Housekeeper and a very active member of the parish's Hospitality Ministry, helped to make the event a success.

All in the St. Charles Parish community are invited to these anniversary events:

		June 13, 2003 9 a.m. - Mass with the St. Charles School Children June 21, 2003 5 p.m. - Special multicultural Mass in thanksgiving for Fr. Creedon's ministry June 21, 2003 6:15 p.m. - Entertainment and reception immediately following Mass in the church and school cafeteria.   Please bring a favorite snack or appetizer -- perhaps representative of your country of origin -- to share at the reception. Food may be dropped off at the cafeteria between 2:00 and 4:30 p.m. on June 21, 2003. PARISH GIFTS: Parish gifts will be presented to Fr. Creedon at the conclusion of Mass on the 21st. Donations for the gifts will be accepted at the reception. Checks should be made payable to "St. Charles Church" and should include the words "35th Anniversary" on the memo line. If you cannot attend the reception and would like to make a donation, you may bring your cash or check to the Parish Office.
