The Saint Charles Haiti Committee thanks the parishioners and friends whose support made it possible for dozens of our young Haitian brothers and sisters to attend school last year. These children and their parents tell us that the opportunity to learn reading, writing and arithmetic is a dream come true.
Last year St. Charles parishioners and friends supported over 160 students. These students, whose families earn only a few hundred dollars a year, would not have been able to go to school without that help. These students want very much to continue their education next year and we are asking their sponsors to continue their support. We also have requests to support 50 additional students. That is where you can help. $100 is all it takes to become someone's American godparent.
