Dinner for All is a community luncheon that is designed to bring together parish and community members, whom we call our guests, from various social and economic backgrounds.

Held the second Saturday of each month, the purpose of Dinner for All is to build community by sharing in a home-cooked meal along with enrichment activities (i.e. voluntary Bible Study and Children’s activities). In addition to the monthly luncheon, Dinner for All organizes a coffee hour that is held every Saturday from 11am – 12pm for anyone in the community that would like to join. The following volunteer opportunities are available:

  • Second Friday of each month (6:30-9:30pm): Assist in meal preparation.
  • Second Saturday of each month (11am-2:30pm): Volunteer to assist with meal set-up, serve the meal, greet and converse with guests, support children’s activities, participate in Bible study or assist with cleanup.
  • First, Third, and Fourth Saturday of each month (11am-12pm): Volunteer to greet and converse with guests while enjoying coffee and pastries.
  • Other tasks include recruitment efforts to local organizations inviting them to participate in Dinner for All.

All events are located in Benedict Hall or an adjacent meeting room. Volunteers should RSVP. New volunteers should attend a short volunteer orientation.
