We thank those parishioners who have attended Build the Spirit Campaign events during the early (Named Gifts) phase and during the neighborhood-based receptions held thus far. Support thus far has brought us close to half of the estimated cost of $3 million. The really good news is that over $485,000 in pledge payments and contributions has been generated. These payments bring us closer to the $1.2 million we need in order to return to the Diocese for the next phase which is to select an architect. Due to this generous response and previously available funds, we feel confident that this step will be accomplished by late summer.
If you have not yet attended a campaign event, please look at the schedule of remaining receptions, select a reception, respond to the host, and attend that reception so that you may learn how you might participate in the campaign. The success of our Campaign and of Building the Spirit at St. Charles can only be accomplished if we have full participation from the Parish-wide community. No pledge is too small. So, please look below at the calendar of remaining receptions and join us.
If you have already received campaign materials but have not yet made your decision, please return your pledge form as soon as possible. Remember--since some Named Gift Opportunities have been taken, please contact the Campaign Administrator, Jane McCarthy, at 703-527-5500 x 26 to make certain that your selection is still available. Please return your form in the confidential envelope by mail or in person to the Parish Office, or place it in the regular collection at Mass. Please remember to make checks payable to St. Charles Capital Campaign. Thank you.
Build the Spirit Receptions
Unless otherwise stated, each reception is in Arlington and will begin at 7:30 pm and end by 9:00 pm.
