FROM OUR PASTOR
Dear Members of St. Charles,
Our parish School still has vacancies for certain grades in the Fall. I have
been deeply impressed by the attitude of our students and the skill and
dedication of our staff. As well as the faith dimension, I am told that our
school outstrips most elementary schools in the region in the area of
academics, especially math and science. So SPREAD THE WORD and fill our school
to capacity. Call the Parish Office if the School Office is closed.
Feel the Spirit,

SOCIAL JUSTICE CORNER...
DONT FORGET TO PICK UP YOUR KIDS THIS WEEKEND! Our
sister parish in Cavaillon has sent
news of 57 students seeking sponsorship for the next school year. For $100, you
can provide a student with tuition, uniform and supplies for the upcoming
school year. What a gift! Come to the Parish Library after the 5:00 PM Mass on
July 31, and after the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Masses on August 1. You will be
able to see photos, and learn more about the children and their school from
members of our Haiti Committee. We look
forward to seeing you July 31 and August 1 in the Library! If you have
any questions, feel free to call Jo Lee at 522-5326. For those of you who
sponsored children last year and wish to renew that commitment, you will be
called soon by our Haiti Committee. Many thanks to you all for your continuing
support and love for our sisters and brothers in Haiti.
Ministry
All children have the natural, inalienable right
to have their own family, parents, brothers and sisters, among whom they come
to the realization that they are persons needing love and capable of loving
others.
