from the Pastor

Dear Members of St. Charles,

This weekend, we celebrate Marriage. Blessings to all who renew their vows, especially to those who celebrate their 50th anniversary. Matrimony is a sacrament not just for the wedding day but for a lifetime. The living out of a promise of affection and fidelity witnesses to the family and to the community the unconditional love of God. Our parish provides ongoing support to marriage through our Marriage Encounter, Couples’ Gathering Groups and pastoral counseling services. If you need more information, call Jean Sweeney at the Parish Office.

On Saturday Eve the 13th, you are invited to a Carnival at the cafeteria. Tickets will be available at the door for food, and music from Haiti. Our Haiti Committee and I are eager to share about our recent visit. Vous etes les bienvenus!

In His love,

Rev. Gerry Creedon

Or, if you don’t have the time to make soup or bread, donate the cost of what you would spend to go out to eat. Proceeds will benefit Borromeo Housing. Then if your schedule permits, join us for the Lenten talks.
