FROM OUT PASTOR
Dear Parishioners,
October 4th is the feast of St Francis. His Canticle of Creation
could be the theme song for the environmental movement. On Sunday
Evening after the 6pm Mass Marisa Vertrees will join me for Conversation
on environmental issues, "The earth is the Lord and the fullness
thereof" Marisa, Parish Social Justice Coordinator, has a
master's in environmental policy and serves with Interfaith Power
and Light. Come and join us in a consideration of the theological
and practical aspects of care for creation at Benedict Hall.
Be sure to visit Benedict hall after Mass next weekend to offer
Fr Richard Mullins our appreciation for his ministry with us these
past 5 years and our prayers for his new assignment as administrator
of St Louis Parish.
Saints be praised!
