Fifth
Sunday of Easter
FROM OUR PASTOR
Dear St. Charles Parishioners,
The 11 AM Mass is a central part of the
life of St Charles since liturgy is the summit and the source of the
church's life.
I want to share with you some important information affecting our future.
Natalie Le has been our leader for 30
years and has brought a unique grace and style to our liturgy and music.
She has decided for a variety of reasons to transition at this time
from leadership of the 11 AM group, effective the middle of June. She
will continue to assist with weddings and other events according to
her availability.
We have worked with the liturgy committee
to establish a search committee to advertise and interview candidates
to provide liturgical and choral leadership at the 11 AM liturgy.
We are hoping to build on the charisma of all our vocal and musical
leaders and worshippers to continue to provide a significant experience
of worship.
Members of the search committee and I
will be eager to encourage applicants from within as well outside as
the parish. Mike Doyle (mdoyle67@verizon.net)
is chair of the search committee.
We plan to invite all parishioners to
an event in June that will honor Natalie's service.
We continue to celebrate with our first communicants during this Easter
Season,

Gerry Creedon
