3rd Sunday of Advent
FROM THE PASTOR
Dear St. Charles Parishioners,
"Prepare ye the way of the Lord". "Make straight his paths" John the Baptist advises us about the best preparation for Christmas; reconciliation. On Monday the 17th, at 7:30 pm, the Parish will celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation. More than a dozen priests will assemble to offer the sacrament of Christ's peace. Let us bring his peace to our families, our work, our church, and our world. Let peace begin with me.
How do I confess? Just ask yourself two simple questions; "Whom do I have trouble getting along with?" and "What do I want to change about my life?" These questions open up the areas for reconciliation and conversion.
May the light of Christ's coming overcome the darkness.
With Advent Hope,

Gerry Creedon
