28th Sunday in Ordinary Time
FROM THE PASTOR
Dear St. Charles Parishioners,
The Alliance for Housing Solutions offers a focus on Housing at the
Leckey Forum at George Mason University on Saturday, Oct. 27th. This
issue is critical for our county. It needs the involvement of all of
us if we are to provide the right to decent and affordable housing to
all. See the bulletin and Web for details.
A big thank you to all involved with our Oktoberfest. May the spirit
of festivity and involvement stay with us through the Fall. Feel the
Spirit!
Gerry Creedon

CHOIR NOTES
On behalf of the St. Charles Music Ministry I want to express our appreciation
to cantor Kathleen Moriarty for her seventeen years of service to the
parish. Kathleen has accepted a new position at Christ Church in Rockville.
Kathleen shared her musical gifts in order to make our 5pm and 9am liturgies
as beautiful and prayerful as possible. Notes of appreciation may be
sent to the parish and addressed to: Kathleen Moriarty (we will forward
to her) or email her at Kathmor@verizon.net.

Church. About 12 of these individuals need sponsors from our parish.

our Adult Initiation Director to check out if this ministry is right
for you. Please contact Michelle Miller at the parish at 703-527-5500

Fear not! Sponsors always say they get more out of the journey than
