Easter Sunday
FROM THE PASTOR
Dear St. Charles Parishioners,
Alleluia Christ is Risen!
The resurrection of Jesus offers hope. Hope takes on many forms. Even in the face of death the followers of Jesus have hope for unending life. Yet our hope is also a present reality. Through the waters of baptism we have already entered the mystery of Christ's dying and rising. Easter is hope for the Church. Our newly baptized members, and those who have participated for the first time in the Easter Sacraments, not only add to our numbers but offer us the witness of adult conviction. May they find in the community of St Charles present signs of Christ Risen.
Resurrection also gives hope for a better world. Come and join with Latinos Unidos de San Carlos in a presentation on justice and peace, with a special focus on church teaching on immigration. This bilingual event will take place at Benedict Hall at 2:15pm on April 15. The presenter is a nationally recognized leader in the field of advocacy, Sister Simone Campbell. ALL are welcome.
Vengan las familias de la Comunidad Latina de san Carlos a la escuela despues de la misa este domingo para una busqueda de huevos, y una presentacion sobre la escuela de San Carlos.
In the Peace of the Risen Lord!

Gerry Creedon

Marriages that end in divorce never make it to the 4th stage of Awakening. Don’t give up without learning about the 4th stage of Awakening. If your marriage suffers from Disillusionment or Misery, please contact Retrouvaille (pronounced retro-vye). For confidential information about or to register for the April program beginning with a weekend on April 20-22, call 703-351-7211 or www.HelpOurMarriage.com

MOST POPULAR PARISH WEBPAGES IN MARCH
The surge in traffic to the parish website that started with Lent continued in March with more than 16,000 visits to www.StCharlesChurch.org, beating February’s total. The calendar was the most popular page, followed by the home page, celebrant’s schedule, news and house blessing. The Irish saints page was a fast mover up the charts and from search engines. Fr. Creedon’s classic 2002 homily, a Lenten primer, beat out his more recent sermons. And the most popular ministries last month were RCIA, C’YA, Education with Praise & Worship and edging out Marriage.
