Fifth Sunday of Lent
FROM THE PASTOR
Dear St. Charles Parishioners,
Lent is the season of reconciliation. Bishop
Loverde will celebrate a healing mass for survivors of sexual abuse
by clergy and others at St. Charles on Monday, March 26 at 7:30pm. Let
us pray with him for the gift of forgiveness for the Catholic Church.
On Sunday, April 1 we are called to make peace with the earth itself.
A scholar from the Wilson Center will join the "Conversation with
Creedon" series to focus on environmental issues on Sunday, April
1 at 7pm.
All are urged to attend our Lent Communal Penance Service on Monday,
April 2. This is a good time to celebrate Easter confession and make
peace with family and others as we approach the renewal of our faith
at Easter.
Thanks to all who made St Patrick's festivities such a joy.
With the blessings of Patrick
and Joseph,

Gerry Creedon
