CROP WALK
Fight hunger in Arlington and internationally by walking in CROP Walk 2006. One-quarter of the proceeds from this 10k walk benefit AFAC. The rest go to fighting hunger-relief internationally through Church World Service. The route is through central Arlington. Start time is 8:00 a.m. and the walk starts and ends at Arlington Forest United Methodist Church at 4701 Arlington Blvd. St. Charles would like to have a good representation in this walk; bring the family and enjoy some exercise while raising money for a worthy cause. Contact our local CROP Walk recruiter: Dave Theis at davidjtheis@yahoo.com or call him at (215) 460-9202. Registration forms are available in the Parish Office.

THANK YOU FROM AFAC
AFAC thanks the St. Charles Community for your recent tithe, which will help us in our effort. Nearly 20 years after its founding AFAC remains the only Arlington organization dedicated to obtaining and providing free, supplemental groceries to Arlington residents facing temporary food needs. These groceries allow needy families to pay for other basic needs, such as medicine or rent, without sacrificing health and nutritional needs. . Your gift will help AFAC fulfill its only mission: to feed the hungry in Arlington County. We are truly grateful for your support
