30th Sunday in Ordinary Time
FROM THE PASTOR
Dear St. Charles Parishioners,
Our Oktoberfest was a great success because of the participation of
so many. I especially thank all the volunteers. Nobody worked harder
than Sr. Benedict. It was a joy to see her replace her veil with the
chef's hat as she shared her delicious spaghetti dinner. Sister, do
not quit your day job!
Sr. Benedict's Brigade is a new group you will want to know more about.
Check the school website!
Thanks too to all of you who filled out commitment cards for our parish
offertory program last weekend. If you did not receive a brochure
in the mail, or were unlucky to miss church here last weekend, or needed
more time to determine what you can afford, call the office at 703 527
5500. Information will be available next Sunday as a follow up.
As part of my "Conversation with Creedon" monthly series,
on Sunday Nov 6 at 7pm , I will share some of my writing, "Poetic
Reflections on Faith and Life." All are welcome.
Thanks, gracias, merci,
