7th Sundy of Easter
FROM THE PASTOR

Fr. O'Hara our associate pastor celebrates his 25th anniversary of
ordination on May 10. The liturgy at 7:00 PM, will be followed by a
reception at Benedict Hall. The people of St. Charles are invited.
I will be in Ireland for a family wedding on that date, so I ask you
to make up for my absence with your presence. Fr. Jack is also known
as Padre Juan de Banica where he endeared himself to our sister parish

FAITH FORMATION
Prayer for the Wider World - Come Holy Spirit
We all have an inherent inclination to be self-centered in our prayer.
What is happening within me and to those who immediately surround or
touch my life tends to occupy my interest. While those are all legitimate
concerns for prayer, we as humans, Christians and members of the Church
need also to reach out prayerfully toward our sisters and brothers in
the wider world. Their joys and sorrows, hopes and fears, victories
and defeats should be ours as well
