FAITH FORMATION
The image of God:
Christ in the very revelation of the mystery of the Father and of his
love makes man fully manifest to himself and brings to light his exalted
vocation. It is in Christ, the image of the invisible God, that man
has been created "in the image and likeness of the Creator."
It is in Christ, Redeemer and Savior, that the divine image, disfigured
in man by the first sin, has been restored to its original beauty and
ennobled by the grace of God. Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1701.

the parish website, www.StCharlesChurch.org. First-time visitors to
our parish will get a real feel for St. Charles by checking out fun
photos from recent events, reading a Fr.
Gerry homily or two and seeing at a glance
all that our parish has to offer you. Join an email
list to keep involved or find a volunteer
opportunity for someone with your talents. Drop by next time you're
online.
SPRING IS THE AIRAND SO IS LOVE!
St. Charles's own Pre-Cana Couple Mentoring Program (CMP) is looking
for married couples to be mentors to engaged couples preparing for the
sacrament of marriage. Program materials which cover the areas of communication,
finances, family, spirituality, and intimacy are provided for reflection
sessions. Help an engaged couple to shape their expectations about
marriage realistically by sharing privately with one another, thus helping
them to grow closer together. For more information contact Margie &
John Barba at 703-281-5316 or at mbarba@aol.com. Couples interested
in becoming mentors will meet on Sunday April 3rd at 10:00 AM in a room

with couples preparing for marriage.
