FROM THE PASTOR'S DESK
Dear St. Charles Parishioners,
This weekend our Latin American Community celebrates First Eucharist.
It is the season of First Communions and wedding bells. Both sacraments
celebrate the immanence of God. Christ is with us in the experience
of love and unity. Marriage is a mirror of divine love. The bread of
life Christ's presence into our souls. May the spirit of Pentecost remain
with us deepening our awareness of the indwelling of God in our midst.
"How can we pray anymore?" is the topic for this Sunday's
"Conversation with Creedon" series. Jean Sweeney, our Pastoral
Counselor and staff to the Community Life Ministry, will join me as
we explore the ways of enlivening prayer for today's Christian. Join
us at Benedict Hall after the 6 PM Mass.
Live the Spirit!

ARE YOU REGISTERED???
If you plan to be a godparent for a Baptism, a sponsor for confirmation,
or to be married in a Catholic Church, you MUST be a registered parishioner
for a minimum of three (3) months! The Church can not vouch for you
if we do not have any information about your participation in the parish.
Stop by the Parish Office to register.
HAVE YOU MOVED???
If you are a registered parishioner and have recently relocated, please
notify the Parish Office, in writing, of the change. The Post Office
often returns to us correspondence and offertory envelopes that are
undeliverable because of an address change. The parish is also charged
¢70 for each returned item.
DONATIONS FOR AACH-SULLIVAN HOUSE
This transitional shelter offers priority housing to battered women
and their children. The moms Ministry is collecting disposable diapers
for a monthly drop-off. The shelter accepts both new and opened packages
- good news if your baby always outgrow a size before you've finished
the jumbo pack! Please drop off at the Parish Office during office hours.
