FROM THE PASTOR
I have decided to offer a series of adult education sessions in the
fall on the first Sunday of each month, after the 6PM Mass. I will offer
a brief presentation and host a dialogue with a guest. The series will
be called "Conversation with Creedon." Each evening will begin
with refreshments at the cafeteria and allow for question and answer.
To begin this initiative I have invited Michelle Miller, who heads a
national association promoting ministry with young adult Catholics and
directs our RCIA Team at St. Charles.
The topic will relate to faith issues today. "What ever became
of Vatican II?" Come join us for this important dialogu on September
7th,

RESPECT LIFE MINISTRY
"If such care
must be taken to respect every life, even that of criminals and unjust
aggressors, the commandment "you shall not kill" has absolute
value when it refers to the innocent person. And all the more so in
the case of weak and defenseless human beings, who find their ultimate
defense against the arrogance and caprice of others only in the absolute
binding force of God's commandment."
(Evangelium Vitea.).
