    Third Sunday of Easter

    Dear St. Charles Parishioners:

The early Christian community celebrated the Lord's Resurrection by establishing a community where "they share all things in common." In St. Charles we have a motto, "Feel the Spirit!"

The construction of our new Community Center calls for a fresh dedication to this same task of community building. Our Rooted in Faith~Forward in Hope campaign shows the willingness of our parishioners to share their time and resources.

Thanks for the outstanding turn out of volunteers last Wednesday. The outreach of our volunteers to your fellow members will help complete our Community Center. You will also ensure that the ordinary income of our parish in future years will not be tied up with debt payments. We will be able to continue to support our ministries, without any cutbacks!

This Month of May will be essential to the success of our efforts. We will need the participation of ALL. Greet our volunteers with an open heart! Christ is Risen!

    Rev. Gerry Creedon
