St. Charles Bulletin for September
29, 2002
26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear St. Charles Parishioners:
"Go out and work in the vineyard!"
We need a coordinator of volunteers to assist us with our Parish
Ministries Fair on Oct 12 and 13. We have a task force already in
place to assist. Call the parish office.
As a parish we have a goal to involve the talents and gifts of all our
people. We would like to be gracious and effective stewards of the time
and talent so many of you generously contribute.
This Sunday at 7:30 at George Mason Campus in Fairfax, the VA Interfaith
Center for Public Policy will present Fr. Bryan Hehir on the topic of
Interfaith action for justice. College students are especially urged to
attend. Newcomers are invited to a special reception at the Cafeteria
on Sat Oct 5 at 6 PM and Sunday October 6 at 7 PM.
With Renewed Hope,
CONTEMPLATIVE WAY
Sessions: 2nd Tuesdays and /or third Mondays 7:30 PM in the Chapel. Come
and see.
"THANK YOU" MIDAS
Each Sunday, our neighbors at Midas provide several parking spaces for
parishioners during Masses. We greatly appreciate their assistance, especially
during this wonderful time of growth and prosperity. THANK YOU!
WE NEED YOUR HELP
As you can see, our construction efforts have begun! The fencing has been
placed around the circle entrance eliminating that entrance/exit to and
from the parking lot. At present, the circle entrance to the Church is
still open; however, as construction continues, it too will be closed.
Please cooperate with our parking lot attendants and ushers as they are
trying to accommodate EVERYONE! We ask for your patience as this effort
continues.
SPONSOR OF THE WEEK: Our thanks Alex Johnson INSURANCE AGENT for their
support.
