St. Charles Bulletin for June 30, 2002

13th Sunday in Ordinary Time

from the pastor...

Dear St. Charles Parishioners,

"Whoever gives a cup of water to these little ones to drink." This is the test of discipleship, care for children and vulnerable people.

Thanks for your support to today's tithe for Borromeo Housing and your paticipation in Music for Moms. Our outreach to mothers and children increasingly serves teen mothers. I invite you to join me in a presentation and dialogue on the outcome of the US Bishops' Meeting in Dallas, a Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. Join me after the 6 PM Mass on June 30.

I thank the neighborhood Representatives who have reached out with summer activities and more than a cup of water to their neighbors!

Peace!

Rev. Gerry Creedon
