St. Charles Bulletin for May 12,
2002
Ascension of the Lord

Dear St. Charles Parishioners,
The children of St. Charles School celebrate their First Communion this
weekend. We welcome them to the table of the Lord.
The Feast of the Ascension is now celebrated on the weekend of Mother's
Day. The hope filled season of Easter, Ascension and Pentecost renews
all of our relatioships. Lets us honor the essential role mothers play
in the formation of families of faith and hope.
The Latin American Community here offers
us a wonderful way of celebrating mothers, "A Noche Latina"
of dance , song, music and food on Saturday evening 18th May. Peruvian
folk dancers will join us. All proceeds will support our Parish Community
Center.
Pray for Peace in Bethlehem and the surrounding areas.

WEBSITE POLL CLOSES THIS FRIDAY SO
VOTE TODAY
The parish website survey on www.stcharleschurch.org closes this Friday,
May 17, so make sure you share your thoughts about what you see-and don't
see-on your parish website. So far more than half of the votes come from
the 11 AM Mass crowd, but that could change this final week. Visit the
parish website to let the Web Team know what you like about the site,
what bugs you, and what else you'd like to see online.
