St. Charles Bulletin for October 14, 2001

28th Sunday in Ordinary Time

from the pastor...FROM OUR PASTOR

Dear St. Charles Parishioners:

"Your faith has saved you".

A time of war is a time for faith and a time for prayer. On Thursday evenings, prayers will be offered for peace and justice in the Chapel. Friday evening, October 19, a presentation will be offered in the church by PAX Christi. This will afford an opportunity to reflect on the situation in the light of Catholic ethical perspectives. On Saturday evening, October 20th at 7:30 PM, an Inter-faith service will be held at the Cathedral. Let us keep all involved in the action in Afghanistan I our prayer.

Come join our Oktoberfest on the 20th! That same morning you are invited to join our sponsor CROP WALK for world and local hunger programs.

Peace,

Rev. Gerry Creedon
