I hope all of you have had time to be with your family and friends over the summer. In our work-dominated society, it is necessary to focus our energies from time to time on the relationships that sustain us. May the spirit of Sabbath rest influence our attitude to worship all year long. We need to be reminded that every Sunday is intended to be a restful and a prayerful day, a little touch of summer. The parking lot entrance is located on Kirkwood between Fairfax Drive and Washington Blvd. Please note that George Mason also uses the lot during these times and cannot be responsible for any property loss or damage. PARISH OFFERTORY ENVELOPES The Parish Offertory Envelopes have several purposes. They provide you with a convenient way to support your Parish. They also help our Parish Office track your contribution so that we may provide you with a tax statement at the end of each year. Without your name, address, and the clearly stated amount of your donation, we are unable to accurately track your contribution. If you do not wish to use the envelopes, please notify the Parish Office in writing. We would prefer you use the envelopes; however, donations in check forms are also credited to individual registrations. The parish home page kept its #1 position, followed by the celebrants' schedule (who's saying which Mass) at #2, with the virtual Parish Office (forms and staff listing) moving into the third spot. C'YA reached fourth place. The ministries index rounded out the top 5, with the CAFE summer reading list slightly ahead of the Eucharistic Ministers schedule.
